Business Identitylogo redesign
Make your first impression your best impression
> BACKGROUND
Bushlands Tourist Park is situated in the small town of Windeyer, near Mudgee in NSW. It offers accommodation in cabins and camping facilities, plus a general store. The owners are looking to attract customers from Australia-wide and internationally, in particular gold-fossicking and cycling groups.
> BRIEF
Having recently bought the Park, the new owners wanted to invest in a professionally designed logo and required a fresh, sophisticated look. The main aim was to reach and appeal to a wider market.
> OUR SOLUTION
As the majority of visitors to the Park are interested in gold fossicking, the client wanted the logo to promote this. The image in the new logo shows a man who has just discovered gold and is jumping for joy.
New typefaces have been used for the name to make it more contemporary whilst giving a leisurely and down to earth impression.

Previous logo
What image are you portraying to your potential customers?
Although a 'Type Face' logo may stand out, generally it becomes quickly dated. In this case, you can see the previous logo had added effects such as a drop shadow and inner bevelling, which make it less legible. These effects are fine for web as there are very few design limitations, however, you could not print this any bigger than how it now appears without it looking pixelated and fuzzy. When designing for print (business cards, letterheads, signage etc.) it is a completely different kettle of fish. With design for print a set amount of rules apply, such as cleanliness of artwork, how the art work changes as it is scaled, and how it will print on different surfaces (plastic cards, banners, billboards, fridge magnets, vehicle signage etc.). Arcane Media's Design services are founded with years of experience and advanced diploma plus education. All of our design services are professionally built to ensure success across the vast field of printing.
