• Files must be in pdf format - we recommend using PDF-X1A
• Artwork/images must be in CMYK
• Artwork must be the right size for print (work space to specified size)
• If you include a border on Business Cards / Plastic Cards, be aware that trimming may not be exactly
  center and may affect the overall look of the final product.
• Bleed – if artwork protrudes workspace, we require a 5mm bleed
• All fonts must be converted to outlines, or properly embedded in the pdf
• Crop marks must be added and viewable outside of workspace
• If two-sided/multi-page printing, artwork must be supplied in one multi-page pdf document, with the front being page 1
• If applicable, Spot UV, Embossing or Foil artwork needs to be on page 1
• All transparency must be flattened

NOTE: When creating a PDF document, ALWAYS view the pdf before sending through to us. • Crop marks MUST be in the document as shown in the opposite image. • If you have not created outlines for your text, be sure the font has    been properly embedded. • To check you have used correct colour, (CMYK) + (Spots for    embossing / Hot Foil Stamping / Dies) check in Adobe Acrobat Pro :    Advanced \ Print production \ Output preview. • If you wish to display image UNDER embossing etc, be sure to turn on    'Over print fill / over print stroke.' This can be found in the attributes tab

Artwork layer (CMYK) The Artwork layer (PDF page 1) will be printed CMYK and where the colours print over the opaque white base layer, the colours will be solid. Other areas will show the silver through the colours. Base Layer (Spot PMS 072) All areas left transparent on the base layer will allow the silver to show through to the artwork layer. The base layer MUST BE PMS 072 and we print this layer as opaque white to mask the silver base. To assist with accurate registration, make sure you use trapping (or outlines) for the page 1 CMYK colours over the 5th colour PMS 072
	SIZE: 86x54mm STOCK: 310 GSM Artboard REQUIREMENTS: 2 page PDF must be supplied with foil artwork on page 1

	SIZE: 90x53mm STOCK: 350 GSM Artboard SPECS: Matt / gloss laminate 2 sides REQUIREMENTS: Hot foil stamp & embossing artwork must be supplied on separate layers and set to different spot colours named after the service

	SIZE: 89x54mm STOCK: 300 GSM Artboard SPECS: Matt / gloss laminate 2 sides REQUIREMENTS: Spot UV is only printed on the front (page 1 of PDF) of the business card. Spot UV artwork must be supplied on page 2 of 3 page PDF. The spot UV artwork must be set to a spot colour (black) and named 'Spot UV'
